Wayamba Elevens v/s Warriors - Preview

Day two of the Champions League and we have an entertaining second half of the day ahead as we go into a double header. First the Wayamba Eleven take on the local team, Warriors. The Jehan Mubarak led Wayambe will look to make an impact this season after a dismal first round exit in the last year's edition of the Champions League.
Warriors, on the other hand, will look to emulate the performance of the Highveld Lions on day one. The team, led by their Wicket Keeper David Jacobs will look to exploit the fact that his team will be better accustomed to the local conditions.

While Wayamba would look up to Mahela Jayawardhane and captain Jehan Mubarak in the batting front, Fervez Maharoof and Ajanta Mendis will be expected to take care of the bowling department. A closely knit squad consisting mainly of Srilankan players will try to use their team chemistry to their advantage.

Warriors on the other hand will bank heavily their quick bowlers like Makhaya Ntini, Juan Theron and Lonwabo Tsotsobe to hit the deck and generate good pace on pacer friendly South African wickets.

All we can do is expect another thriller of a match.
